There is something rather unique and wonderful about a group of women coming together, sharing prayers, life experiences, encouragement and wisdom with one another. No shame, no holding back, no competition, just a release of emotions that were attempting to hold us in bondage. A release that was made possible all because the Holy Spirit chose to come and grace us with its presence. The great Comforter came and sat with us for a while and granted us the gift of freedom through His all-embracing love. You leave your sisters a littler wiser, stronger and ready to conquer the world.
Sister you inspire me to see myself as He sees me…You reminded me of 2 Timothy 1:7, that you my “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” No matter what I may face in this life, I can call my sister and she will pray God’s word with me, and we will praise Him for we shall remember that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Always shall we rejoice in He, for He is our peace. He has made us to be warriors, our sisters’ keepers; we know as we go out to conquer the world that we are fully equipped with God’s armor and we put it on daily. We teach our children the way of the Lord, to be ye Holy for He is a Holy God. We are the Proverbs 31 woman, for the heart of our husbands does safely trust in us, and we only tend to our own…
My sister I will be here for you even when we grow old, we will teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands and their children. I promise if I see you on a crooked path, I will guide you back on the straight and narrow. Through this we will teach, and we will learn still…We will serve the Lord all the days of our lives. We shall never leave a sister alone; for when one falls, we shall offer a hand to assist her back up. We shall never think more highly of ourselves than we ought to think but walk in humility for we now know that humility will carry us a long way. We are daughters of the King; daughters of the one true, living God and we will stand together in blessed assurance making certain that the oil in our lamps will always full.
