Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jeremiah 29:11).

God desires is for us all to obtain peace, and that we would flee from all evil, for “He is not willing that any should perish.” (2 Peter 3:9). He wants us in eternity with Him, this is His will for us; however if we do not yearn for it ourselves we will fall into temptation, becoming deceived by evil and every promise God has for us will be forfeited.

” But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6).

He created us with a purpose to fulfill… not to abandon. His will is that we complete the tasks in which we were created for. However, we allow circumstances to fog our vision, we start to believe the lies of the enemy; and because we were not praying and watching we fall into the trap unawares because of the little gap ( doubt) we left open…That little inch we left opened allowed him to take a mile. He now feels as though he have free course to do as he please in our lives.

The good news is when we become aware of the deception, this inch to a mile tactic works with God too. Let us remember…With God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26.) Faith as a grain of a mustard seed is all it takes. If we have just a little faith, God will do the rest. And as we grow continually (our faith) we can only marvel at how God really works and has always been working in our lives. He is just waiting on us to exercise our faith. Not faith in our own abilities, but faith in Him and Him alone.

“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” (Luke 17:20).

Know peace, walk in peace and flee from all forms of evil. If we believe He can deliver us from our current circumstance He will. He may not move in that very moment, but He will move. Let Him be your motivation for everything you think and everything you choose to do. So hopefully in this world that is so enthralled in chaos, you will be able to stand still in peace and faith for you trust in Him. Allow Him to work in you and through you, so your end will be that which He has purposed it to be. Lord I pray that Your peace will be our peace and evil will not be able to penetrate our thoughts any more. This I ask in the name above all names, in the name of Christ Jesus, amen!

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. (Matthew 24:13).
